    • Analyze and review plantmodification projects / Improvement projects proposed by userdepartments to optimize the cost and fulfill operationalneeds.
    • Lead all Electrical projects and support/ contribute to larger projects viz. internal expansion,feasibility study and implementation schedule to ensure thatprojects are delivered in time within the budgeted cost andstandards.
    • Identify and recommendequipment/systems for procurement, provide technicalspecifications, perform technical evaluation of equipment andrecommend suppliers.
    • Co-ordinate andcommunicate effectively with other departments on engineeringactivities.
    • Prepare project status reports& regularly monitors budgets, contractors'schedule. Allocate project resourcesappropriately.
    • Adherence to site construction,QA/QC & HSE procedures effectively by vendors according toProcedures, Electrical Drawings, P&I Diagrams, Standards& Specifications.
    • Inspection ofsystems, erection of equipment and witness of all tests either onsite or at vendors' place as and where required and theirapproval.
    • Hand over of the project to the userdepartment with close out of all punch points and receipt of alldeliverables as per contract from the vendor and validateinvoice.
    • Prepare and propose annual budgetfigures for management approval that represents estimated costs andenable effective cost management.
    • Update allprocedures and coordinate during Internal and External Auditprocess as and when required and maintaindata.
    • Adherence to all departmental proceduresfor an effective work flow.
    • Attend CompanySafety patrol, near miss reporting and job safety implementation tocomply all HSE requirements.
    • Ensure effectivefollow up of the divisional strategy into sectional business plansto ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with otherinterfacing strategies.
    • Direct the developmentof the Qatarization strategy in alignment with our client'sand Qatar national objectives to attract, develop, retain QatariNationals to establish a qualified talent pool and supportQatarization targets.
    • Prepare and recommend theCapital budget and monitor financial performance versus the budgetwhile ensuring all Project activities are conducted in line withthe approved guidelines.
    • Ensure effectiveimplementation of policies, procedures and controls covering allareas of assigned Electrical Engineering activity so that allrelevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled whiledelivering a quality, cost-effectiveservice.
    • Lead the identification ofopportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability ofsystems, processes and practices considering global standards,productivity improvement and costreduction.
    • Ensure that all Project reports areprepared timely and accurately and meet our client'srequirements, policies, and qualitystandards.
