    · Work with the engineering teamsunder the direction of lead engineers preparing and producing HSEengineering deliverables for projects. Will be expected to assumelead engineer in the absence of leadengineer.

    · Ensure compliance by allparties with company's HSE requirements and regulations andall relevant legislation and statutory requirements, including alllaws, rules and regulations (as amended from time to time) of thegovernments.

    · Contribute to thedesign of engineering solutions and produce detailed designs andspecifications. Prepare deliverables to meet specific projectrequirements including:

    • Project HSEPlans
    • HSE Philosophies
    • Fire& Gas System Specification
    • Active andPassive Fire Protection
    • Fire FightingLayouts
    • Fire and Gas DetectionLayouts
    • Safety KeyPlans
    • Hazardous Area ClassificationLayouts
    • Engineering Studies Reports (GasDispersion Analysis, Fire and Explosion,etc.)
    • Risk Assessment Studies Reports (HZIDS,HAZOPS, SILs, etc.)

    ·Manage the technical aspects of procurement of equipment andservices including preparation of requisitions, vendor data review,scope development and management, problemsolving.

    · Participate, lead and /orfacilitate engineering studies.

    ·Ensure compliance with company's objectives, requirements,priorities, policies, procedures, standards, rules, regulations andguidelines provided by company from time totime.

    · Review and approve the HSEdeliverables of the project.

    · Developand execute a personal HSE intervention plan and review the PMT HSEintervention plans. Personal plan to include the activities thatsupport visible HSE leadership such as, safety inspection tours forall areas, identifies potential hazards & recommendedsolutions, audits, personal interaction and participation in dailytoolbox meetings.

    · Monitor theconstruction activities and make sure that these are executed asper the HSE plan and procedures.

    ·Evaluate designs done by others and prepare reports. Prepare anddeliver presentations of engineeringdesigns.

    · Check the technicalcompleteness and correctness of work done by otherengineers.

    · Represent the projectteam and company for factory inspections, presentations, seminarsetc.

    · Participate in contractorkick-off meetings.

    · Maintain contactwith concerned groups for Emergency PreparednessPlans.

    · Participate in incidentcontrol duties during major accident emergencies ordrills.

    · Ensure the implementation ofand participate in the execution of theProject

    · Ensure leading and trailingHSE performance measures are developed, compiled, maintained andreported

    · Ensure an HSE Audit processand plan is developed andimplemented

    · Facilitate the annualHSE Excellence Assessment

    · Contributeto maintaining and enhancing qualitymanagement.

    · Provide the support andcooperation in regards to the quality department requirements andAudits.

    · Provide the support andcooperation in regards to the Business development &tenders management activities whenrequested.
