    The Technical Instructor/Assessor willdeliver a range of training modules, across the AerospaceMechanical Specialty tradeboundary.

    The TechnicalInstructor/Assessor will assess learner performance, in accordancewith the assessment strategy in force for the modules. Assessmentof learners may take place from within or outside of their tradeboundary, to allow for independence.

    The successful delivery of the modules willcontribute toward the learner's attainment of externallyaccreditedqualifications.

    The TechnicalInstructor/Assessor will actively contribute to the continuingimprovement of the QTI, through identification of ideas andembracing the suggestions of others.

    CoreActivity

    The roles will deliverAerospace Mechanical Specialty technical training to QAF studentswithin the TI, both in the classroom and theworkshops.

    The roles willutilize both presentation media and training devices and assets todeliver training and the instructor must be proficient in allmethods.

    The roles willconduct assessment of the learners, either through practical orknowledge-based testing, in accordance with the assessment strategyin place

    KeyAccountabilities

    Responsible forthe delivery of the basic and specialty engineering programmeswithin the TI ensuring training is delivered to plan andquality.

    Establish and maintain effective linkswith local QEAF Cadet Welfare teams to ensure their support isforthcoming to cadet welfare and disciplineissues.

    Maintain and develop a customer focusedapproach that delivers customersatisfaction.

    Ensure all SHE requirements are metin the training environment.

    Ensure compliancewith statutory, regulatory and corporaterequirements.
