    Responsiblity:

    • Operating andmanaging the pastry section of the kitchen and liaising with theexecutive and sous chefs to ensure a successful workingenvironment.
    • Preparing ingredients and handlingbaking and other kitchen equipment.
    • Creatingpastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a setrecipe.
    • Developing new recipes for seasonalmenus.
    • Decorating pastries and desserts toensure beautiful and tastefulpresentation.
    • Meeting with customers to discussdetails and planning of custom-made desserts and pastries forspecial occasions, such as weddings.
    • Monitoringthe stock of baking ingredients.
    • Ordering newsupplies, ingredients, and equipment for the pastry section, whenneeded, and within budget.
    • Ensuring theirsection of the kitchen adheres to safety and healthregulations.
    • Supervising and training staffmembers, when needed.
