    A lead mechanical engineer is responsible forthe design, development, and implementation of mechanicalcomponents, systems, and products. Responsible for researching,designing, and developing complex mechanical systems andcomponents, creating technical drawings and specifications, testingand evaluating prototypes, and overseeing the installation andmaintenance of thesesystems...

    Duties &Responsibilities, (include but not limitedto):

    · Monitor anddirect the team - engineers and draftsmen performance on a dailybasis.

    · Supervise and manage multipleclients and sub-contractors for applicable phases ofprojects.

    · Develop sustainablebuilding services designs on numerous major projects includingcommercial, residential, tall tower, Infrastructure and mixed-usedevelopments.

    · Have knowledge inventilation and air conditioning systems and a successful trackrecord of delivering detailed designs to the highest internationalstandards.

    · Create the designcriteria, which would define the requirements the systems would berequired to deliver.

    · Developconceptual design and preliminary design documents, which wouldinclude calculations related to sizing and selecting of thesesystems, the development of HVAC airflow diagrams and utilitysystems process and instrumentation diagrams(P&ID's), and generalarrangements.

    · Develop final designdocuments including specification, sequences of operation as wellas the HVAC ductwork layout and final constructiondocuments

    · Research, plan, design anddevelop sustainable HVAC systems.

    ·Ensure that the documents meet the municipal, company and clientstandards/ protocols.

    · Review andresolve any issues related to teammembers.

    · Be accountable formonitoring planning budgets andschedules.

    · Coordinate with projectmanagers to monitor staffing models to projected workloads to meetexpected project timelines and profitabilityprojections.

    · Ensure that company andclient standards and protocol arefollowed.

    · Oversee and resolve thevarious design issues during allphases.

    · Prepare, present, orparticipate in seminars orsymposiums.

    · Provide the support andcooperation in regards to the quality department requirements andaudits.

    · Provide the support andcooperation in regards to the business development &tenders management activities whenrequested.
