QICC Nexans is currentlylooking for an Electrical Technician to join Qatar teamThe idealcandidate will perform the corrective, preventive and ameliorativemaintenance of the equipment in compliance with the objectivesdeveloped and set in quantity, quality and delays.
He will applysecurity, environment and prevention rules within his workenvironment.Expectations of the role:
Inspect, monitor and checkequipment and ensure its conformity (availability andperformance)
Continuously monitors physical indicator to know thesituation in his perimeterRegularly note signs of malfunctions orabnormalitiesThe responsibilities of the role are thefollowing:
Attend the breakdown in the machinePerform the preventivemaintenance of the machineInform in advance to the Supervisor aboutany spares which is required to solve the machine problemAssist theUtility Operators and guide them randomlyInspect the utilities on aregular basis and maintain the logbook for the sameInspect each andevery machine for any abnormal sound, oil leakage, ari leakage etcand to inform Supervisor immediatelyMaintain the shift report on adaily basisRaise a memo for any spare parts to be issued from thestore for the machineMake a logical approach Mechanically andElectrically to solve the problem in the machine and informSupervisor accordingly if it is beyond their level.
Write clearinstruction for the next shioft for any pending job in alogbookFollows all safety procedures and policies set by thecompany.
Reports to the Maintenance SupervisorRequirements of thejob:
Experience3-5 years of Mechanical Maintenance Field Experience, preferably from cable Industry.
EducationDiploma ITI Electrical/Electronics/ Mechanical TradeRequired Skills And KnowledgeMust haveexpertise and proficiency with the basic office ComputersoftwaresMust have ability to work effectively with CMMSGoodCommunication Skills (Written, Spoken)Basic Knowledge of SiemensPLC – S7 FamilyBasic Knowledge of the field devices likewater level controller, proportional valve etc.
Good troubleshootingand hands on experience for cable manufacturing machineriesGoodknowledge of convertors and frequency driversAbility to find outthe root cause of the problem and ability to resolve itGoodknowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic system
