    You will have thefollowing:

    • university degree in your specialistsubject
    • teaching qualification
    • arecognised qualification for working with students with additionalneeds – preferably a SENco diploma/degree You will alsobe able to meet visa-related restrictions for Qatar, includingpossession of a Bachelor's degree and a teachingqualification from a face-to-face (non-online) course. About therole Join our dynamic international education environment, whereyou will support parents and staff with the delivery of afit-for-purpose curriculum, built on the English NationalCurriculum and preparing students for external examinations atIGSCE/AS-A levels. You will lead the development of a culture inwhich students are challenged to be ambitious learners and teachersare required to be innovative to enhance the student experience andoutcomes.
    As the whole school Director of SEN, you will be involvedin the following areas:

    • Directly lead a team of SENstaff, including an SEN teacher and facilitators.
    • Regular meetings with parents and staff. · Thereviewing, writing and distribution of IEPS. · Offertraining and resources to all stakeholders. · Manage theSEN register and ensure all documents are up to date.
    • Liaise with external support providers. · The role willinclude working with individual or groups of students.
