    About the role

    Qatar Airways are excited to be launching a newopportunity to join our Sales and Distribution team as a GlobalSales Officer.

    As a Global Sales Officer youwill provide support and assistance to Global Sales Function thatcomplements their requirements in achieving Sales targets byimplementing sales tools in line with sales strategies andobjectives to enable revenue growth and revenue protection whilekeeping a clear focus on commercial alignment.

    You will be supporting in formulating and maintainingSales policies processes and procedures for Global Sales Functionand will be responsible for driving day to day coordination of theclient/supplier sales cycle coordination with QR Sales Offices andensuring intelligent implementation of sales tools &technology.

    As part of your dailyresponsibilities you will also:

    • Assist Global Sales Managers in growing relationshipswith contracted/new partners and help achieve revenue targets byproviding information and reviewing the existing businesses andrecommending innovations to new clients.
    • Provide initial and ongoing analysis of QR opportunityand competitive circumstances within a changing global marketplacein order to support Global Sales leaders with informed commercialdecisions and reduce speed to market.
    • Ensuretimely and proactive communication with internal parties throughbeing an effective interface for the Global SalesFunction.
    • Support the implementation ofimprovements to the administration tasks ensuring Global Salesdelivers & meets deadlines/speed to market and to providethe commercial organization with visibility and support in makingdecisions.
    • Prepare intelligent reports& analytics for client & internal stakeholderbusiness reviews.
    • Support in sharing bestpractice techniques with colleagues both in HQ and outstationsthrough ongoing one to one communication and crossfunctional teammeetings.
    • Participate in & support theincentive agreement processes both from a sales generation& cost reduction standpoint in order to support thebusiness sin achieving speed to market and maximize return oninvestment.
    • Contribute to the processes ofRFl/RFPs by providing data modelling to enable KAMs to target keybusiness opportunities.
    • Support Global Saleswider commercial objectives across relevant functions by beinginvolved and contributing in the formulation development andimplementation of tools and products that would facilitate andenhance station performance capabilities.
    • Support with fare filing for Global Accounts inconjunction with PRM/Tariffs testing & reporting any errorsand act as a catalyst within the department for all issues relatedto Global Fare filing
    • Support the execution ofcost of sale strategies and trade sales programs in order tofurther facilitate cost optimization for the wider commercialorganization.
    • SupportUserAcceptanceTesting ofproductsand systems developed for the business and delivered by ITTeams in order to ensure accurate and timely delivery of commercialproducts to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Assistin drafting and maintaining business line or productspecific SOPsand guidelines in order to facilitate further business alignmentand compliance.

    About You

    A successful candidate should possess the following experience andqualifications:

    • High SchoolQualification / Vocational Qualification (Diploma or Equivalent)with Minimum 4 years of jobrelated experience OR Bachelors Degreeor Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of jobrelatedexperience
    • Excellence command of Englishlanguage
    • Advanced knowledge of the MS Suite(Excel Word)
    • Advanced knowledge ofTableau
    • Knowledge/understanding of the keyelements of global airline sales
    • A provenability to work and coordinate tasks in a multicultural environmentand
    • Strong communication/interpersonal skills
    • Excellent relationshipbuildingskills
    • Ability to handle and process largeblocks of data and prepare executive summaries
    • Proven commercial skills and business acumen (able tospot and interpret market trends)
    • Knowledge oftravel industry
    • Preferredqualifications:
    • Expertise in businessanalytics tools e.g. PowerBi Tableau
    • CRMexperience
    • Background in Marketing or Sales& Communication
