    The ConservationProperties Program Supervisor, basedin WarmSprings,will work on andsupervisethree biologists,mainly to the 34,000-acrePine Creek Conservation Area,with some workonWillametteproperties.

    Dutiesinclude visionfor wildlifehabitat upliftand long-term landmanagement, perform anddirect various habitat monitoring actions, projectmanagement, assistinwritingmanagement plans and otherreporting, grantwriting,contract solicitation andmanagement, floraand fauna inventories,GIS,data collection, facilitiesmanagement, and supervise andassist staff on management activities onthe property.

    Must becomfortable workingalone inremotesettings. Mustbe able to withstandlong periods ofworking intemperatures,attimesinexcessof100F,hikinglongdistancesin steep terrain, andperforming strenuous dutiessuch as heavylifting. Requires frequenttravel topropertiesin Clarno andWillamette basin.

    Requirements


    Requires2 yearssupervisoryexperience,Mastersdegree in wildlife biology,botany,or natural resourcesrelatedfield,and four years experience; OR Bachelors degreeand six yearsprofessional experience related toposition.
    Also requiresvalid driverslicense, background checkand drugscreening.
