    Job Summary and Purpose

    • The Employee Relations Officer hasresponsibility and accountability for all Employee Relationsactivity within QFAB. Which involves providing Employee Relationsworkforce intelligence troubleshooting risk operating as a changeactor to assist with realigning responsibilities in the Company andpromoting best practice.
    • Provide support to the Human Resources Managerin the operational and administrative tasks to resolve all mattersrelated to Employee Relations in QFAB by assisting in developingand implementing effective policies and procedures related toEmployee Relations. As well as overseeing personnel administrationtasks by providing guidance in the preparation and processing ofpersonnel actions throughout the entire employment period fromhiring to the conclusion of service. Additionally activelyparticipate in and coordinate with the IT department to develop andeffectively utilize HRrelated systems.

    GenericAccountabilities:

    • Leads and guidesthe Employee Relations Team in their daytoday operations.
    • Collaborate with HR Manager andpropose and suggest employee relations strategies aligned withorganizational objectives.
    • Provide guidance on policy interpretation toManagement and employees whenever required.
    • Manage and resolve employee relations issues anddisciplinary cases.
    • Conduct thorough investigations into employeecomplaints ensuring fair and impartial resolutions.
    • Act as a key liaison betweenemployees and management to facilitate transparentcommunication.
    • Leadnegotiations and settlements when necessary emphasizing positiveemployee relations.
    • Assistand support HR Manager in addressing legal issues related toemployee relations.
    • Stayabreast of changes in employment laws and regulations ensuringorganizational practices remain compliant.
    • Manage all employment contracts by monitoringcompany payroll reviewing and validating eligible allowance andbenefits while ensuring compliance with the applicable laws andrequirements.
    • Manage alladministrative circulars and decisions (e.g. early retirementprogram promotion employee transfer penalties imposed on employeesemployee loans).
    • Managecommunication with employees with regards to their action letters(i.e. promotions salary adjustments disciplinaryactionsetc.).
    • Overseeemployees data and records and ensure their confidentiality.
    • Manage HRMSs master dataand ensure its up to date and accurate.
    • Review and validate new joiners salary andapplicable allowance and benefits.
    • Review and validate payments to employees i.e.reimbursements to ensure their compliance with pertainingpolicies/contract.
    • Provideescalation support with suggestions to ensure all queries relatedto employees are addressed in a prompt manner.

    Employee Relations WorkforceData:

    • To providecomprehensive Employee Relations workforce data reports which showthe performance of the employees in terms of sickness turnoverstaff costs dismissals suspensions and grievances.
    • To use this data to help the HRManager Leads formulate leadership and line management developmentprograms.
    • To use his/herEmployee Relations expertise and findings from different datasources to feed into the departments annual action plan in terms ofaddressing and mitigating risk.

    StrengtheningEngagement and Learning

    • To work with theLearning and Development Specialist to help coordinate a rigorousmanagement by objectives culture through annual Appraisal (PMS) andsubsequent supervision practice.

    Quality HealthSafety Environment & Security (QHSES):

    • Adhere to all relevant QHSES policiesprocedures instructions and controls so that QFAB provides a safeworld Class secure and environmentally responsible service tocustomers the public and its own people.

    Others:

    Carry out any other duties as directed by the HRManager.

    Qualifications Experience andSkills

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in business administration HumanResources or any other related filed.
    • HR Professional Certification would bepreferred.

    Experience:

    • 5 7 years of related experience of which a minimum of 35years should be in a similar position / responsibility
    • Previous experience in Oil& Gas industry and regional experience ispreferred
    • Bilingual isan advantage.
