    • The positiondirectly relates to Operations & Sales activities withinthe NOV WellSite Services. The Operations Manager forQatar:
    • Fully accountable for Solids Control& Waste Management P&Laccount.
    • Maintain control on WorkingCapital
    • Ensure service quality is continuallyenhanced. Develop and motivate employees to ensure consistentlyhigh standards of performance andeffectiveness.
    • Introduction of new productlines and Business Development inCountry.
    • Setup strategies for business growthaccordingly with expectations from Company and Senior Managementdirectives.
    • Strong strategic planning andproblemsolving skills with the ability to make sounddecisions.
    • Strong networking andrelationshipbuilding skills with the ability to foster positiveconnections with various stakeholders.
    • Mustensure highest standards of HSE.

    JobSummary:

    As the Operations Manager for Qatar youwill play a key role in the overall strategy development andperformance and growth of the business with strong focus on HSEP&L Service quality Asset tracking DSOs Inventory andbusiness development. You will work closely with crossfunctionalteams including engineering sales marketing and manufacturing toensure the successful execution and customer satisfaction. Keyresponsibilitiesinclude:

    • RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Accountablefor the profitability of WSS Business in his/herarea.
    • Provision of Forecasts on weekly andmonthly basis.
    • Develop and execute strategiesfor expansion into new product lines.
    • Managecustomer contact and support incountry operations whenrequired.
    • Manage service staff utilizationensuring personnel is utilizedaccordingly.
    • Ensure safety and timely projectexecution (Offshore and onshoreinstallations).
    • Liaison with engineeringdepartment for technical queries and proposaldevelopment.
    • Ensure Raising the Bar program inQatar is implemented and followed up at alltimes
    • Authorize company expenses in accordancewith policy.
    • Train motivate and develop staffto ensure continual high standards ofperformance.
    • Manage the implementation ofcompany policies regarding compliance timekeeping holiday planningperformance reviews and disciplinaryprocedures.
    • Promotion and implementation oftraining at all levels of our organization.
    • Toengage in any other activity within his / her capability asrequested by line management. Actively promoteHSE.

    BEHAVIORALSKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

    • Extensiveexperience of offshore and onshore drilling operations activitiesequipment and use of same.
    • Understanding of NOVWSS products and services and how they can be bestutilized.
    • Knowledge of the region and localculture. Full understanding of NOV policies and adhere to them atalltimes.

    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILLSETREQUIRED:

    Essential:

    • Minimumof 10 years experience in the O&Gindustry
    • Operations Experience is a Must with aminimum of 7 years
    • A bachelors degree inEngineering business management or a related field may bepreferred
    • 10 years of experience in leadershipand management roles preferably in a similar industry ormarket.
    • Sales Skills Experience on RunningSolids Control Equipment Cuttings Reinjection Experience LeadershipSkills Strategic Planning Problem Solving Ability to makedecisions

    Desirable:

    • Morethan 10 years
    • Engineering or PetroleumDegree
    • OperationsExperience
    • Knowledge of P&L BalanceSheet Working capital
    • Arabic is aplus
