    This position is responsible for ensuring asafe environment for the hotel employees and guests andsafeguarding the assets of the hotel. The Security Manager assiststhe Management, employees, and guests in every way that isconsistent with the protection and preventionobjectives.

    • Train SecurityOfficers in the operation of surveillance equipment, writtenreports, record keeping, patrol, and first aidprocedures
    • Disseminate all information by theManagement to team members
    • Conduct patrols andregular checks on all Security Officers to ensure that they arealert and discharging their duties efficiently andeffectively
    • Conduct all criminalinvestigations, put up accompanying investigation papers, andreports cases that occur within theHotel
    • Conduct surveillance on hotel staff toensure that they abide by the House Rules; Keep tag on movements ofstaff who are classified as suspects underinvestigations
    • Control and direct all emergencypersonnel traffic in response to fire, bomb threat, policeassistance, injury or illness
    • Inspect allSecurity equipment to ensure that they are in working order andthat all cameras are correctly focused
    • Conductroutine day-to-day checks of the following items to ensure thatthey are properly maintained, issued, and accounted for:Pocketbooks, Security Desk Occurrence Book, Gate Passes andSecurity Passes, Keys, and Key Registers.
    • Postallocation for hotel and ExternalSecurity
    • Cultivate Informers to obtaininformation of security interest that may be of immediate or futureuse to the Department for prevention and detectionpurposes
    • Record all activities involving theDepartment in the Daily Security Report
    • Providesecurity coverage for VIP guests
    • Update theDirector of Security constantly on all matters of security interestaffecting the Hotel and the Department
    • Alwaysbe on-call, including off-duty hours, for any emergency that mayarise
