    The BEAR Logistics Technician willprovide continuity planning accountability and reporting ofdeployed expeditionary assets and accountable tools equipment andcommodities. Conduct monthly inventory of WRM equipment &consumables MRSP kits physically present onsite. Flexibility toaccommodate variations in the workload augmentation to militarysupply functions at multiple Air Force Central Command (AFCENT)locations in Southwest Asia.

    ESSENTIAL JOBFUNCTIONS:

    • The BEAR LogisticsTechnician shall be a USN and have a minimum of two yearsexperience
    • The BEAR Logistics Technician isresponsible for meeting work requirements safety quality tasksassociated with Task Order Track accountable tools and shopequipment for the Civil Engineer (CE) shops (list maintained on anECES R14 accountability report) and the nonequipment consumablelisted items The inventory efforts will assist Civil Engineer (CE)shops by ensuring accountable items are available when needed.Experienced with automated inventory equipment (barcode scannerlaptop computer software and tags).
    • Conductmonthly inventory of Harvest Falcon equipment MRSP kits physicallypresent onsite and nonequipment consumable listed items physicallypresent onsite Annotate all shipments receipts and transfers to DLADisposition Services on the current month s inventory Research anddocument missing items Coordinate receipt and pickup of inboundHarvest Falcon equipment and nonequipment consumable items Ensureproper procedures are used to replace Harvest Falconequipment/assets/consumables Maintain and operate the HarvestFalcon equipment yard Submit redistribution (RDO) requests toUSAFCENT/A4/A7 for serviceable and unserviceable excess equipmentand nonequipment items and comply with disposition instructionsReport serviceable/unserviceable excess for dispositioninstructions Initiate transfer of accountability requestsAccountability reports and provide monthly inventoryreports.

    EDUCATION &EXPERIENCE:

    • Two Years Experience withWRM BEAR/RADR assets
    • Secret Security ClearanceRequired
    • SelfMotivated organized able to solvecomplex problems able to work as an imbedded contractor within theUSAF Civil Engineer Squadron able to follow military rules andregulations as well as corporate policy and safetydirectives.

    LICENSE &CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Licensed to operatefour (4) thousand (K) pound 6K and 10Kforklifts

    KNOWLEDGE &SKILLS:

    • Have working knowledge of23101 and 25101.
    • Have working knowledge ofBlock III Equipment Management.
    • Have workingknowledge of pallet build up.
    • Have workingknowledge of hazardous material management
    • Mustpossess strong organizational skills with an attention to detailand follow up.
    • Must be able to multitask in afastpaced environment.
    • Must be customer serviceoriented.
    • Must have excellent verbal andwriting skills; be skilled and proficient with Microsoft programssuch as Excel Word Power Point and other computer softwareprograms.
    • Considerable knowledge of the supplychain operations including property material andlogistics.
    • Demonstrated ability to workindependently within a geographically separatedteam.
    • Must understand material and propertyinventory procedures.
    • Must be able to identifyvarious items of WRM assets by sight.
    • Must beable to approach problems in a logical manner and solve them withavailable resources.
    • Ability to communicateorally and in writing Must be able to walk in excess of 10000 stepsa day outdoors in safety toe boots with puncture resistance whileconducting physical inventory of assigned assets in all weatherconditions rain wind sandstorm extreme temperatures exceeding 120Fdegrees.
    • May be asked to lift or carry itemsweighing up to 50 pounds.
    • Must be able to climbsteps or use a ladder and work fromheight.
