    Internal Audit Plan and Execution
    • Developand execute long term audit plans by identifying audit areas,reviewing the risk register, and estimating resource requirementsto incorporate audit of all departments and sections within companyconsistent with business and management needs, to provide anindependent review and assessment of degree of compliance andadequacy of company policies and procedures.
    • Direct thedevelopment of detailed audit assignments including themethodology, process and resources needed to carry out the auditassignment with a view to ensuring the systematic and efficientconduct of the assignment.
    • Oversee and lead the process ofselecting and hiring external support for the execution of internalaudit plans.
    • Review procedures and records for their adequacy toaccomplish intended objectives, and appraise policies and plansrelating to the activity of other departments.
    • Conduct follow upaudits to ensure that recommendations/regulations are adhered toand best practices are being followed.
    Presentation and Findings
    • Oversee the development of audit engagements and audit findingsreports, ensuring accuracy, completeness and validity of issuesidentified.
    • Report audit observations and conclusions objectivelyand accurately in order to enhance the value of the audit processthrough continuous improvement and corrective actions.
    • Assist theprocess owners in evolving suitable corrective / preventive actionsbased on the audit reports and verify the implementationeffectiveness.
    Liaison with other Auditors
    • Apprise the externalauditors about the key findings of internal audit in order tosupport the external audit with complementary advice.
    • Coordinateand interact with external auditors, shareholders'auditors, state auditors, and professional bodies as needed tomaintain efficient relationships and protect company'sinterests.
    Ad-hoc Audits
    • Oversee the implementation of crucial orad hoc audits whenever necessary, e.
    g., investigations of allegedfinancial mismanagement, conflict of interest, loss of assets orother irregularities, so as to provide high level of vigilance tothe company and insight to senior management. Strategy Developmentand Implementation
    • Develop and direct the implementation of thedepartment strategy ensuring alignment to divisional strategy,vision, mission, and corporate objectives.
