    Job Title: HVAC ControlsService Technician(BAS)

    About theRole:

    HVAC Controls in local 597,Experienced mid to Sr level Controls Tech with the interest joiningthis local.     • This is a full-timeposition with some OT depending on theworkload
    • Oncall 1 X a month,dispatched from home local travel, NOovernight

    • Pay rate up to $60/hrplusstipends

    Responsibilities:

    • Service,troubleshoot, diagnose, program & commission pneumaticelectric & electronic controlsystems.
    • Programming andCalibration of systems requiring electronic testequipment
    • Communicate withproject teams and controls subcontractors to problem solve to meetcustomer needs, status updates, assisting with onsitecoordinating.
    • Maintainschedule productive time, and completing commissioning &other service call relateddocumentation
    • Work on a Teamwith controls for mission critical HVACClients
    • Actively plan andwork towards careeradvancement

    Requirements:

    • 5+years experience as Service Tech as a ControlsTech
    • Solid knowledge andonsite experience with diagnosing and editing & programmingPLC systems-
    • Strongknowledge and experience with the controls concepts for themechanical HVAC equipment in commercialbuildings.
    • Will need tointerfacing & integrating DDC systems with electrical& mechanical equipment systems in commercial or industrialbuildings.
    • Ability to edit,program & integrate automation to VAV, RTU's andchillers
    • Graphic Editingcapability is a Plus
    • Adhereto safety standards
    • Strongknowledge of commercial buildings mechanical and electricalsystems.
    • Able to read& interpret mechanical & electrical blueprints& schematics
    • Able toclimb, and move / lift 75lbs
