    • Participates in shutdown planningprocess to ensure that adequate resources are available duringshutdown relative to support staff, training, PPE, monitoringequipment. Develops and support the implementation of shutdownspecific EAS and produces reports and presentations to support thelessons learned process.
    • Identifiesprocess change and determines improvement opportunities, developskey activities plans and key process indicators to supportcontinuous improvement initiatives in the IH section andH&S department areas. Leads the development and review ofinternal and external industrial hygiene procedures in accordancewith QGMS and provide consultation to the keystakeholders.
    • Reviews all newchemicals (both routine and non-routine) and conducts safetyassessment to determine suitability for use on site. Providesrecommendations on appropriate control measures to mitigateexposure.
