    • Assist IOM Protection DivisionStaff to communicate with Afghan evacuees at CAS, and vice versa,by interpreting accurately between Dari and/or Pashto and Englishduring Protection activities and MHPSSactivities.
    • Accompany guests to appointments ormeetings (e.g. medical visits) where required by Protection/MHPSSstaff to provide interpretation/translationsupport.
    • Carry out written translations for theProtection/MHPSS units from English to Dari and/or Pashto (and viceversa), often working to a tight deadline with high standards ofaccuracy.
    • Maintain and ensure theconfidentiality and integrity of all relevant paperwork in linewith standards of conduct and data protectionrules.
    • Apply humanitarian principles in allduties, as well as a gender, age and diversity-sensitiveapproach.
    • Contribute to interculturalcompetence of protection/MHPSS and partner staff by organizing anddelivering cultural awarenesssessions.
    • Contribute to daily, quarterly andannual reports to the donor by using SMART CAMP SYNC App fortracking appointments / request logged through the system byprotection/MHPSS staff.
    • Assist Complaint andFeedback Mechanism team if and when required with interpretationand / or written translation.
    • Perform suchother related duties as may beassigned.

    RequiredQualifications andExperience

    Education

    • HighSchool diploma with five years of relevant experience;or,
    • Bachelor's degree in Political orSocial Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies,Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from anaccredited academic institution with three years of relevantprofessional experience.
