    Full-time Permanent role

    Salary: 40- 50K DOE Plus Benefits

    Overview:

    We areseeking a Project Engineer for our client. The role will involveboth office based work and frequent site visits. The officelocation is in Co. Carlow with site visits varying depending on thecontract. You will have at least 3 years experience, ideally in thewater sector.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide support to the Project Manager.

    Liaisewith suppliers to obtain quotes ensuring full spec.compliance.

    Prepare technical submissions andreports for Client approval.

    Generate contractprogrammes of work.

    Monitor and update theprogress of projects against the Contract Programme.

    Schedule resources & contractors to ensure deliveryschedule is met.

    Prepare Method Statements andRisk Assessments for upcoming works.

    Implementthe Project Quality Control procedures.

    Financial tracking of projects and reporting.

    Site liaison with sub-contractors & Client Project &Resident Engineers.

    Site surveys and generationof works packages.

    Maintain and update the SiteSafety Files ensuring full compliance with current HSAregulations.

    Attend site for safety audits,project supervision

    Update drawings forconstruction with vendor packages.

    Documentcontrol for all aspects of the Contract.

    Maintain a variation and change order log.

    Compile the O&M Manuals.

    Requirements:

    Minimum of 3-4 years Mechanical / Electrical Engineering experiencewhich will have been in a Project Engineering role.

    Knowledge and experience of the water and wastewaterindustry (not essential, but an advantage)

    Aworking knowledge of AutoCAD with the capability to update drawingsfor construction and to coordinate between vendors andcontractors.

    Knowledge and experience of plantdesign, construction and commissioning.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Experience of managing contractors and sub-contractorsfor the delivery of projects.

    Strong technical,delivery and commercial skills.

    Demonstrate apro-active, practical & flexible approach to work.
