• Ensure correct grooming standardsare followed at all times
• Responsible for thesmooth operation of the retail area of theoutlet
• Handing guest's orders,payment arrangements, special retailrequests
• Work closely with the Executive PastryChef to plan menus, prices and promotional events for the outletsin order to maximize revenue generating opportunities in line withmarket demands
• Follow the Care Programme at alltimes
• Follow up on all financials, LQA, Forbesand TrustYou targets
• Is aware of the daily,monthly and yearly financial targets
• Activelyand actively contributes towards the achievement of financialtargets
• All issues and negative guest feedbackneed to be properly reported on Glitchsystem
• Following up on opening and closingchecklists
• Maintains the HACCP & FIFOstandards as required by the regional governingbody
• Handle financial procedures according toguidelines set by the financedepartment
• Responsible for linking all facetsof service, cuisine and entertainment
• Assumethe responsibility of daily operations
• Handlessecurity incidents, guest complaints with confidence and in aprofessional manner and reports it timely manner to the directsupervisor
• Assist daily briefings for all staffprior to commencement of shift
• Ensure allappropriate equipment is on hand for each serviceperiod
• Assist the outlet Senior AssistantManager on trainings, grooming check and selection of casual labour(if needed)
• Should be creative, confident andprepared to think outside of the box
• Followingthe personal development plan set by the directsupervisor
• Ensure the operational inventory isalways accounted for and in immaculatecondition
• Ensure the outlet is maintained atthe highest levels
• Create opportunities forupselling products
• Develop the direct team tostrive for excellence
• Inspires heartists tocreate a flow of new and 'improved'ideas
• Follow Hotel Evacuation Policy in case ofan Emergency
• Ensure awareness and delivers theoptimum levels of service and guestsatisfaction
• Establish and maintain effectivecommunication across all divisions
• Lead byexample through a passionate, hands onapproach
• Assist with collecting information forthe monthly P&L review
