    JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Detailed structural design of public infrastructurerelatedbuildings/structures.
    • Produce design drawingsand calculations reports.
    • Supervise otherengineers and CAD team as per project taskassigned.
    • Act as a checker within the team toensure the quality of the deliverables prior to formal clientsubmissions.
    • Communicate with other technicaldisciplines to produce wellcoordinated design to ensuresatisfaction of functionality and serviceability requirements andclashfree configurations.
    • Track the progress ofthe assigned design and report to the Lead Engineer of the statusand any issues that may arise during the designdevelopment.
    • Be selfmotivated and requireminor supervision on committedtasks.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BachelorsDegree in Structural Engineering and 8 years of related workexperience. Work experience must be related toHANDSON DESIGN ofstructures.
    • Intimate knowledgeof the following software:
    • SAP2000
    • Structural Bridge Design (AutoDesk)
    • AutoCAD
    • Bentley RAMconnections/elements
    • Intimate knowledge offollowing design codes
    • Ashghal IAN048 andother structural design related Interim AdviceNotes
    • Eurocode

    PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS:

    • CandidatesMUST be immediately available and currently based inQatar
    • Masters Degree in Structural Engineeringis highly preferred.
    • Possession ofinternationally recognized engineering licenses such as PE SE andCEng is preferred.
    • Familiarity with Revitsoftware.
