    • Assists in developing andimplementing new recipes and menus.
    • Performopening duties, as well as assist with the transition from the AMto PM / PM to AM staff taking over theduty.
    • Adheres to hotel standards for guestservice.
    • Refers guests' problems orcomplaints to the supervisor.
    • Maintains thehighest possible rating from the Health Department on a regularbasis.
    • Report and document any observed orknown safety hazards, conditions, or unsafe practices andprocedures to managementimmediately.
    • Participates in demonstrations,special projects, and public relations duties asnecessary.
    • Communicates with the EngineeringDepartment as needed regarding the smooth operation ofequipment.
    • Participates in the hiring,counseling, and coaching of staff to maintain hotelstandards.
    • Performs employee evaluations andschedules staff efficiently to meet guest and businessdemands.
    • Participates in monthly inventoryalong with the Chef de Cuisine.
    • Performs otherjob-related duties as directed.
    • Supervise theactivities of the Chef de Parties, Saucier, Butcher, andCooks.
