    Key Roles& Responsibilities
    Directmonitoring of operational activities assuring compliance inaccordance with established Safe Systems of Work and qualitystandards
    Provide information to applicable worksitestaff to assist them to adhere to the zero harm managementstrategies consistent with site/project needs and in accordancewith Milaha HSSEQ Management Systems
    Support worksitestaff and supervision in complying with established HSSEQ plansRisk Registers Safe Work Method Statements Hazard Identificationand Risk Assessments (HIRA) Job Safety Analysis etc. providingsubject matter input where required
    Conduct daily weeklyand monthly compliance inspections and audits of operationalactivities to measure performance and compliance with regulatoryprovisions (Legal Contractual Industry Standards Proceduraletc.)
    Conduct field observations and inspections ofprestart work methods statements authority to work permits highrisk work process documentation to assure fitnessforpurpose (riskidentification and control) and that worksite staff are familiarwith and complying to listed methodologies
    Participate inincident investigations track corrective and preventive actions tocompletion and lessons learned are communicated
    Facilitate HSSEQ training as required at a local site level;including Site Management Supervision employees andcontractors
    Utilise processes and tools for measurementmanagement and improvement of HSSEQ performance
    Performother jobrelated duties asassigned

    Decision MakingAuthority:
    Responsible for making riskbaseddecisions on residual risk level to as low as reasonablypracticable (ALARP) upon implementation of recommended controlmeasures
    Has authority to provide advice andrecommendations with regards to corrective and preventative actionsto contractors within assigned operationalunit

    QualificationsExternal

    Education &Professional Qualification:
    3year Full TimeDegree (NonTrade)
    NEBOSH IGC HSE Certificate orhigher
    Train the Trainer certification ispreferred
    Root Cause Analysis certification ispreferred
    Permit to Work certification ispreferred
    First Aid certification ispreferred
    ProfessionalExperience:
    3 5 years of relevant experience ofwhich 2 years as HSE professional in heavyindustry
    GeographicExperience:
    N/A
    ComputerSkills:
    Good knowledge of Office and webapplications;
    Advanced MS Excel and PowerPointskills.
    Language Skills:
    Fluent spoken and writtenEnglish
    Market/Industry/FunctionalKnowledge:
    Proven success in the implementationof an effective safety process culture in a multinationalenvironment where perceptions of safety and risk varyconsiderably
