10. Provide Tier3 support andhigh level fault resolution to the Business and Client Services anddetermine the root cause and risk elements of failures whileconsidering alternative courses ofaction
    
11. Understand theinterrelationships of Voice, Network, Systems, Security policy andCore Networking protocols to provide guidance for integration at anorganizational architectinglevel
    
12. Convert the long termtechnology roadmap into specific project plans, business cases,budgets and project plans for implementation in thenetwork
    
13. Provide input to theoperational implementation plan to ensure that capacityrequirements can be proactively identified, managed and reported onas part of the operational functioning of theproduct.
    
14. Update Voice Risk registerand work towards reducing risk (and limiting fraud) on variouselements in network.
    
15. Work withexisting vendors and service providers (and investigate new ones)in ensuring that the network keeps up to the demands of innovationand capacity requirements
    
16. Implementspecific tactics for operational excellence, in terms of systems,processes, best practice, etc.
    
17. Workclosely with the other Business Units to ensure synergy andco-operation in areas which are relevant to the Voicenetwork
    
18. Contribute to Productdevelopment and complex technical design of new products/enhancements
    
19. Ensure seamlessintegration of new infrastructure projects from a projectmanagement perspective as well as provide technical leadership andguidance on such projects
    
20. Providetechnical guidance and input to client RFP s and other Businessdocumentation
    
21. Responsible andaccountable for the delivery, implementation and support of theoverall VoIP Network
    
22. Drivingproject delivery and ultimately owning projects from inception tocompletion

24. Analyse emerging technologies and make recommendations foradaptation, investigate new product ideas and guide ProductDevelopment in technicalproductisation

Qualifications

1. Aminimum of 3 years experience in software development with a focuson audio/video systems and/orVoIP
   
2. VoIP Protocol, TCP/IP, Routing,Switching, Session Border Controllers, Gateways &Softswitch experience(essential)
   
3. Demonstrable knowledgeand significant working experience in VoIP environments(required)
   
4. Demonstrable knowledgeand significant working experience of networking & TCP/IP(required)
   
5. Significant experience indesigning, implementing, and supporting VoIP environments(essential)
