    Director of Sales - LifeSciences, US-basedanywhere

    This is a senior position, with no direct reportsresponsibilities, in a growing company, on the vendor We arelooking for a high-achieving, exceptional, professional, driven andfocused Life Sciences sales leader with experience in closingbig-ticket sales in an international business environment and theability to develop new business from existing clients and activelyseek new sales
    This rolewill be more of a hybrid nature - 50% existing accountsand 50% sourcing new opportunities with the support ofthe sales

    • Third levelqualification
    • Formal sales training, preferably CCS orMiller-Heiman
    • Minimum 10 years of consultative salesexperience preferably within the life sciences localizationindustry
    • Excellent communication, networking andpresentation skills
    • Proven and demonstrable record of achievementin the Life Sciences salesenvironment
    • Extensive connections within the LifeSciences PLC localizationvertical
    • Experience in negotiating and closing salesat the executive level including rates and service-levelcontracts
    • Competency with standard productivity toolsand familiarity with CRM solutions, preferably
    • Abilityto attend meetings overseas at shortnotice
    • Effective time and personal productivitymanagement
    • Experience with medical devices,pharmaceuticals, and CROs

    Duties &Responsibilities

    • Devise andexecute a personal plan and prioritize sales activities andcustomer / prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims,including profitability and salestargets
    • Develop and execute strategies for leadgeneration, new business, sales, and other matters related toprofitable new revenue generation in the Life Sciences BusinessUnit
    • Working closely with internal teams to addvalue to potential and existing clients by effectively aligningtheir goals with companies localization solutionoffering
    • Represent the Language Service Provider atall times in a manner befitting the values and ethos of arespected, global professional servicesorganization
    • Identify, qualify, manage and close salesopportunities
    • Report on all relevant sales activity to theCSO as required
    • Lead all tender or proposal activities,engaging the appropriate resources where necessary, generating aprofessional and timely response to theclient
    • Support and leverage field marketing, productlaunches, product promotions and other lead or revenue-generatingactivities
    • Monitor and report on market and competitoractivities and provide relevant reports andinformation
    • Led, motivate and energize internal andexternal team members to produce a winning saleseffort
    • Attend and present at external customermeetings and internal meetings with other company functions asnecessary to perform duties and aid businessdevelopment
