- Assess patients that enter the medical center with internal medicine consultation and emergency room immediately and oversee emergency patient's recovery.
- Refer the appropriate request for medical tests, which might include checking vital signs, Patient consultation, blood tests, Urinalyses and Imaging tests like X-rays, MRI, CT scans, ultrasounds etc.
- Executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition.
- Prescribe medications or drugs and provide comprehensive instructions for administration. Develop effective patient care plans Conduct follow-up visits to monitor the patient's condition. Refers patients to medical specialist or other practitioner for specialized treatment. Ensure that patients are stable before transferring them to the proper department for further evaluation Provide instructions for discharge and any relevant paperwork.
- Attend medical consultation and Emergency calls to patients unable to visit the clinic or injured employees at the Mwani Worksite. Attend to injuries or sudden illnesses by applying a variety of pre-hospital simple and advanced treatments (first aid, CPR, administering injections and oxygen etc.) or surgical procedures Use tech equipment and tools to stabilize patients or provide immediate treatment.
- Perform Medical fitness test to work. Provide appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health.
- Reports deaths, and outbreak of contagious diseases to MOPH or governmental authorities
