    The post holder requires a good understandingof the construct of the approved Technical Information set and iscompetent to work unaided to approved data, maintenanceinstructions and in accordance with the organisation'sMaintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE). Demonstrates the abilityto analyse and diagnose faults to equipment & assemblies,follow diagnostic procedures and work effectively within a teamprovide guidance to less experienced team members in a diverse anddynamic operational environment

    • Undertakingdetailed maintenance and inspection activities on the metallicstructures and SFT components. Assuring work carried out has beencompleted in accordance with the Work package using the relevantapproved technical information with an awareness of configurationmanagement. Resolving faults and maintenanceissues
    • Reviewing operational performance ofaircraft components & systems. Analyse and diagnose faultsto components & assemblies, apply diagnostic skills& knowledge to effect repairs or modify equipment orsuggest improvements to procedures
    • Ensuringthat maintenance is undertaken to schedule and resolve any issues,escalate as required
    • Undertaking and completetasked maintenance & diagnostic activities on the metallicstructures/SFT components which may include, as appropriate:component removals, inspections, repairs, modifications, faultrectifications, replacements and/or functional/systemtest
    • Demonstrate a flexible and proactiveattitude to carrying out responsibilities appropriate to the roleand takes direction appropriately
    • Maintainingpersonal task authorisation for working on an aircraft orcomponents
    • Progress reporting against deliverytargets to the supervisor/controller
    • Maintaining a personal Log Book todemonstrate currency and recency, on completion of On the Jobtraining (OJT) activities
    • Undertaking supporttasks within the metallic structures/SFT bay facility which arerequired to maintain compliance with the MOE (e.g. oversightchecks, control of tooling/testequipment)
    • Undertaking fault evaluation andraise ad hoc work cards for 'found faults'duringmaintenance
