    JobDescription

    PositionSummary:

    • SupportProcurement Department with dailyactivities
    • Followup with all user departmentsand Receiving in order to better support theoperations.
    • Increase guestsatisfaction.
    • Perform any other reasonable taskrequested by the Procurement Manager/Director ofProcurement.

    GeneralTasks

    • Call forquotations and inquire into prices from various suppliers. Ensurethat a minimum of three genuine quotations isobtained.
    • Follow up and ensure that goods aredelivered in accordance with the purchase order and without anydelay.
    • Monitor vendors for quality service andprice through standard purchasingsatisfaction.
    • Receive proper purchaserequisition from Head of Departments.
    • Raise theLocal Purchase Order in the name of the selectedsupplier.
    • Receive the market list from theExecutive Chef on a daily basis and arrange for the delivery ofthose items daily.
    • Ensure that theadministrative procedures relating to the purchase of goods arefollowed.
    • Ensure that the suppliers follow therule relating to the hygiene of goodsdelivered.
    • Maintain all documents files andlistings up to date in the most efficientmanner.
    • Carry out regular market survey pricesfor all items and services for the hotel by keeping in touch withthe suppliersconstantly.

    Qualifications

    Preferredqualifications:

    • Englishlevel: Speaking and understanding reading andwriting
    • Education: Bachelors Degree in FinanceAccounting or any other related fieldpreferred.
    • Experience: Minimum 1year experiencein Procurement/Purchasing Department in 5 StarHotel
    • Others: High level of IT understandingability to use Microsoft packageefficiently
