- Description: Responsibilities: 1.
- Conduct comprehensive cost analysis for metalmanufacturing processes, including raw materials, labor, equipment,and overhead costs.
- Analyze cost data to identify areas for costreduction and efficiency improvement.
- Provide cost estimates fornew and existing products based on detailed analysis and markettrends. 2.
- Prepare accurateand timely project estimates for bids and proposals.
- Collaboratewith the sales and engineering teams to develop competitive pricingstrategies.
- Ensure all estimates adhere to company policies,industry standards, and client requirements. 3.
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of manufacturingprojects, considering cost, resources, and timelines.
- Monitorproject progress, costs, and deviations from budgets.
- Providecostrelated guidance and support to project managers and teamsthroughout project lifecycle. 4.
- Evaluate supplier bids and proposals to ensure competitiveness andcost effectiveness.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts withsuppliers to achieve optimal cost savings without compromisingquality.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliersto facilitate smooth procurement processes. 5.
- Create detailed cost reports, including varianceanalysis and cost projections.
- Maintain accurate records of costdata, estimates, and project documentation.
- Prepare and presentcostrelated reports to management, highlighting key findings andrecommendations. 6.
- Stayupdated on industry trends, market conditions, and technologicaladvancements related to metal manufacturing.
- Identifyopportunities for process improvements and cost optimization withinthe manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvementinitiatives.
- Bachelor's degree inMechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
