- Flow assurance Responsibilities:
- Produce, review, and takeresponsibility for the accuracy of detailed calculations, processengineering datasheets and drawings to specify the processengineering requirements of our projects
- Supervise lessexperienced process engineers and, where required, be line managerfor process engineers within Qatar office.
- Support recruitment,training and development of process personnel
- Follow companystandards and procedures to schedule and budget as advised by theLead Process Engineer
- Remain up to date with the latest technicaldevelopments in your fields of expertise
- Demonstrate, provide anddevelop appropriate technical solutions for specific project issues
- Ensure the delivery of challenging project and client targetsusing sound technical knowledge and decision making skills
- Take aproactive approach to personal & professional development Ensure Wood and Client Health, Safety, Environmental and Qualityprocedures are followed and that a high standard of safety isachieved in all associated work
- Demonstrate appreciation ofcommercial and technical risks, managing these appropriately withinown work and highlighting any significant issues to Lead ProcessEngineer
- Seek and support opportunities for department andproject improvement and contribute to developing solutions Skills /Qualifications:
- Degree qualification in Chemical Engineering, andpreferably a member of a relevant professional body or institution.
- Minimum 15 years' experience in Oil & Gaspost graduation
- Experience of working in a variety of projectsand phases, including greenfield and brownfield, on and offshore,Concept through to EPC, with a focus on upstream.
- Aself motivated, proactive individual with high achievement driveand initiative, excellent verbal and written communication skillsand good organisational awareness
- Ability to impact and influencefellow workers
- Demonstration of customer focus and ability torespond to customer needs whilst achieving project and corporateobjectives
- Display analytical and innovation skills to manage newtechnology
- Experience of leading/chairing HAZID/HAZOP reviews forsmall projects will be an advantage
- NGL experience is mandatoryfor this role.
- Able to produce process simulations usingAspentech Hysys.
- Use of flow assurance softwareincluding OLGA and PIPENET
- Have demonstrable experience of working independently / remotelyfrom technical leadership personnel (although functional leadershipwill be within the Doha office.
