- Analysis local market trends and competitoractivity to identify new business leads
- Develop customeraccounts and travel within the local area to drive business intothe specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share inall revenue streams
- Negotiate room rates/packages withcorporate clients
- Develop and implement creative localmarketing channels, including social media channels
- Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with currentbusiness and pricing conditions
- Work within currentbusiness strategies and recognising potential opportunities
- Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to createan exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensivesales programs
- Attend Sales events, as required
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needsof the Sales Director and senior management to include thereporting of appointments, calls made and business leads
