    Responsible primarily for establishing thesection, provide the framework and tools initiate engagement andservice management relationship with the principal customers andstakeholders of IT.


    • Builds and maintainsstrong relationships with business partners and acts as a liaisonbetween information services teams and the businesspartner
    • Manages and mentors a BRM team that builds andmanages strategic relationships with businesspartners
    • Acts as an advisor to business partners toshape their strategy with regard to technology and ensure they areaware of IT service offerings
    • Promotes business projectsand value to the IT leaders and community
    • Works withbusiness analysts to help their business units define newcapabilities
    • Defines, prioritizes, and manages programand project initiatives
    • Tracks ROI for businessinitiatives including cost, benefits, and risk
    • Helpsdefine and communicate new services to support businessneeds
    • Participates in development of business strategicplanning and IT strategic planning
    • Assists in thedevelopment of metrics used to track valuedelivery
    • Provides details on cost, value, andopportunity to optimize IT spend (initiatives and
    supportservices)

    • Communicates business needs with appropriateIT solution center to gain alignment
    between businessneeds and technical capabilities

    • Gathers high levelbusiness requirements and defines scope during initialdiscovery
    by conducting meetings/interviews, andfacilitating large group/cross-functional
    sessions withpartners

    • Leads in the development of business casesrequiring IT based solutions.
    • Establishes initial vendorrelationships and maintains a forward looking view of vendordirection
    • Interfaces with vendors to understand whethervendor products will meet business requirements
    • Monitorsthat the solution center is meeting the partner sexpectations
    • Refines SLAs based on businessneed
    • Maintains up to date awareness of industry andtechnology trends, and makes
    recommendations forimplementation of new/upgraded systems andtechnologies

    • Maintains knowledge of multiple businessfunctions and initiatives to identifywhere
    conflicts/synergies exist between technologies andbusiness functions
