    We are looking for an experienced and capabletechnical product owner with a systems integration focus to leadthe development of a new product stream that will betransformational for the LearnPro Group.

    Therole will sit between conventional product ownership and systemsintegration management. We need someone who can hit the groundrunning to understand a complex area and rapidly develop anddocument the project requirements before working with variousstakeholders to deliver outstanding results. Some of therequirements from this programme will be technical andnon-functional so familiarity with systems integrations will be anadvantage. Any experience in games development will also be helpfulsince our core system is a simulation system based on the Unitygames engine.

    You will need to run functionalworkshops and tease out requirements from non-specialists, thendocument and translate requirements to the level that developmentteams can understand. In addition, you will create presentations,wireframes and mocked screens as needed communicating with everypart of the business and managing external suppliers. As such, thesuccessful candidate must be self-assured and able to challengepoor UX suggestions from all areas and levels of the organisation,with the CTO and programme steering committee s backing andsupport.

    Reporting to the CTO and the programmesteering group, but supported by the in-house product managementteam, this role is initially a 1 year contract that we envisageconverting to a permanent role if everything works well.

    The role will be hybrid with some time in our Delft officeand some travel to suppliers and very occasional trips to theprogramme delivery location in Singapore. The LearnPro Group sworking language is English but the main office is in TheNetherlands so fluent Dutch is also a requirement.

    Responsibilities

    • Act as product owner and product manager forthe new programme within the Production Department team
    • Wrangle alldocumentation containing existing knowledge and map these to therequirements matrix of the programme
    • Documentexisting technical architecture of the project environment at ahigh level
    • Map requirements to technicaloptions, using input from stakeholders involving multiple systemsuppliers
    • Create well-structured informationoutput for the steering committee and stakeholders
    • Run workshops to elicit requirements withinthe business and produce user stories, personas, wireframes,prototypes, journey maps, presentations and designs as required
    • Quality checkdevelopment work with assistance from the test team
    • Champion good UX and design across thebusiness

    Skills andExperience

    • Graduate with acomputer-related or technical degree, preferably in human factorsor UX - but ability is more important than degree background
    • 5+ years' professional experience working as aproduct owner or product manager
    • Experiencewith analysing market opportunity, competitive landscape, andcustomer needs, conducting research as necessary
    • Experience researching, prototyping,designing, testing and building web products (preferably web andsimulation/games)
    • Must be commercially focusedand collaborate well with cross-business stakeholders, clients, anddevelopment teams to execute the roadmap on time.
    • Technical understandingof integrations between systems (technical use of different APItypes, sockets, RPC calls)
    • Enoughinfrastructure knowledge to understand networking implications ofchosen solutions
    • Ability to document complexsystems in English
    • Ability to work out thebest technical path from competing options
    • Supplier negotiation on requirements anddesign
