    Job Description Scope andObjectives Responsible for business development and implementationof all sales activities in specific geographical markets for theleisure segment, maximize business opportunities in specific areaof responsibility and execute all sales action plans.

    Reporting tothe Director of Sales – Leisure and is responsibilitiesand essential job functions include but are not limited to thefollowing.

    Essential Responsibilities and Duties Job Description

    • To be totally familiar with hotel products, rates, andpromotions at all times.
    • Maintain up to dateunderstanding of company products and rates and involvement incross selling of these when required.
    • To participate inpreparing the sales action plans, attend sales meetings; developnew ideas such as special packages, programs, promotionalactivities, F&B, spa and other hotel revenue centers inspecific Markets
    • To identify need periods and offertactical offers to specified markets. Participate and coordinatepeak period booking campaigns.
    • Implement and monitorJoint Marketing Activities with travel trade partners.
    • Manage retail and consortia business from specific markets.
    • Participate in hotel activities including promotions,sales blitzes, entertainment and other operational areas asdirected.
    • Service needs of customers by attending to allrequests promptly within 24 hours.
    • Assist theDOS-Leisure in pursuing new market segments to secure sales andprepare proposals for consideration.
    • Preparation,communication and participation in FAM trip groups/events.
    • Develop strong, secure and productive business relationswith all companies within portfolio under the geographic / marketsegment allocated.
    • Positive communication of the hotelimage to existing and potential customer at all times.
    • International Travel to specific markets. Attend Tradeshow andrepresent the hotel. Arrange for individual sales trips for produteducation and seek out new partnerships.
