    • Keep the Team Organized and OnTrack: Ensure the development team remains focused on the mostcritical projects and progresses according to priority. Thisincludes facilitating daily standups and sprint planning sessionsto keep the team aligned and movingforward​.
    • Bridge Between Product Management andDevelopment: Act as a mediator to ensure clear communication of theproduct's strategic vision between the product managementteam and the developers, maintaining a mutual understanding andfocus on the right priorities.
    • Clear Obstaclesand Protect the Team from Distractions: Identify and removeimpediments that hinder the team's progress and protect theteam from interruptions that could affect their focus andproductivity.
    • Lead Through Influence andCredibility: Guide the team not through authority but by earningtrust as a knowledgeable and reliable expert, fostering anenvironment of collaboration and continuousimprovement.
    • Ensure Daily Scrums AreProductive: Facilitate daily scrums to ensure they are efficientand stick to the 15-minute timebox, focusing on what wasaccomplished, the day's goals, and any obstacles in theway​.
    • Coach and Empower Team Members: Providecoaching to team members to work more effectively within the Scrumframework and empower them to take ownership of their roles andresponsibilities​.
    • Teach the Principles ofScrum: Educate the team and the organization about Scrum theory,practices, rules, and values, fostering an understanding andappreciation for the Scrum framework and its benefits.
    • Facilitate Transparency, Inspection, andAdaptation: Support the team in embracing the empirical processcontrol by encouraging transparency, enabling meaningful inspectionof work and outcomes, and facilitating adaptation to improve andevolve processes and products​.
    • Vendor andSupplier Management: Throughout the procurement process, from theinitial identification of needs to the final closing ofprocurements, Project Managers work closely with vendors andsuppliers. They are responsible for overseeing the solicitationprocess, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and managingvendor relationships to ensure the procurement aligns with projectgoals and company standards.
    • Reporting:Project Managers are responsible for setting and reporting onObjectives and Key Results (OKRs) to align project outcomes withorganizational goals. This involves defining clear objectives,measuring progress through key results, and communicating these tostakeholders to ensure the project stays on track towards itsstrategic objectives​.
    • Risk Management:Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks associated withprocurement and project execution is a critical responsibility.This includes foreseeing potential delays or issues with procuredgoods or services and implementing strategies to manage these riskseffectively to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
    • Stakeholder Communication and Satisfaction:Maintaining regular and transparent communication with stakeholdersis key to managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction with theproject's progress and outcomes. This involves reporting onOKRs, project status, procurement updates, and any risks or issuesthat arise, as well as being responsive to feedback and adaptingproject plans as necessary​.
