    AccountManager

    TheRole

    This is a home /field based role. As field Account Manager, you will be responsiblefor managing existing relationships with 5 national merchants thatinclude Travis Perkins, Jewsons, MKM and Greenhams that will makeup a large proportion of your activity / spend. The product rangeis construction textiles that are used for transporting, securingand protecting building materials. You will also be tasked withmanaging certain tier 2 regional builders merchants (again existingrelationships are in place. As field Account Manager, you objectivewill be to development incremental growth by increasing share ofwallet and introducing new products / categories to your accountbase. On a day to day basis you will be conversing with CategoryManagers, Trade Counter Managers, Product Managers and BranchManagers.

    TheCandidate

    • Experienceselling into Builders Merchants
    • Our clientwith also consider candidates that have sold into Plumbing& Heating Merchants OR Electrical Wholesalers (providingyou have increased a range of products into existingcustomers).
    • Our client will also consider FIELDBASED Area Sales Managers that have worked for a Builders Merchant,Electrical Wholesalers or Plumbing & Heating Merchant -with ambition to work for amanufacturer.
