    The Cost Control Engineer coordinates in allaspects of the cost capturing, monitoring and forecasting effortfor their assigned project with proper documentation. Ensures indelivering the complete suite of cost-control services andfinancial support for projects. This position maintains the projectcost information, and with the Project Controls Lead shall overseevariations and revisions to existing budgets.

    • Monitor,control and report on projects in terms of cost history andforecast
    • Maintain planned and actual cost andcommitment schedules.
    • Maintains internal laborand project costs to allocated budget.
    • CreatesBudget Transfer Requests as directed by the projectteams

    JobResponsibilities 2

    1. Implementsapproved departmental policies and procedures and ensures adherencewith the processes implemented so that work is carried out in acontrolled manner.

    • Receives no morethan 5 ncrs per month and ensure there resolution 100% within 10days
    • Manages cost control on site and be ableto complete and confirm all works with a minimum billing of 30 m qr/ month

    2. Monitors daily operationsassigned for the cost control to ensure compliance with theestablished standards andprocedures.

    • Process and Approve MR,PO, S/C Agreement, PC, SRV, SIV within 10 Working Hrs of theircreation.

    3. Develops cost structuresfor all activities, ensuring the agreement with the allocatedbudgets, plans and accurately assigning costs to designated itemsto provide better means for controlling day-to-dayactivities.

    • Daily verifications of thecost allocation of transaction to cost codes and reallocating asneeded within 10 working Hrs of the entrytime.
    • Visits the Sites at least once weekly toverify the progress measurements
    • Uploads theverified BCWP into the ERP System no later than 1 days after theCut of Date

    4. Maintains internallabor and project costs to allocated budget and flag deviations toproject management.

    • Be able to reflectthe workforce Productivity report and Man-hour trends and includein MJCR

    5. Performs cost analysis andadvises management on cost over-runs. Works with computerizeddatabases to manage deviations and minimizecosts.

    • Produces the Weekly Job CostReport within 3 Days from the end of theweek
    • Assists in the Production of the MonthlyJob Cost Report and achieve it within 15 days from the end of themonth

    6. Monitors and reviewsaccounts to ensure timely invoicing is done in an efficientmanner.

    • Reviews submitted clientinvoices and studies the variance from realistic values byproducing Over/Under Invoicing calculations within 3 days from theend of the month

    7. Observes with allrelevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures toensure a healthy and safe workenvironment.

    • Receives no more than 1ncrs per month across all projects, related to QA orHSE.

    8. Creates Budget TransferRequests as directed by the project teams and provide feedback onalternative methods ofconstruction

    • Provides accuratecalculations of budget transfer and achieve no more than 10%correction at final approvalstage
