- Evaluateand analyze capitalexpenditures, depreciation, proposals,investment opportunities,rate of return, profit plans, operatingrecords, financialstatements, etc.
- Study acompany's financial datato give advice for guidingbusiness investments and overallfinancial strategy. Day-to-DayDuties
- Analyze current andpast financial data andperformance
- Prepare reports andprojections based onanalysis
- Evaluate current capitalexpenditures anddepreciation
- Explore investmentopportunities
- Establish and evaluate profit plans
- Identify trends infinancial performance and providerecommendations for improvement
- Coordinate with othermembers of the finance team toreview financial information andforecasts
- Providefinancial models and forecastingEducation Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degreein Finance, Accounting, orrelated field; CPA or CMA a plus years of experience in thefield or in a related field
- Familiarity with financialprograms andsoftware
