    • Create and maintain the liftingoperations strategy, standards, procedures and programs tofacilitate safe use of lifting equipment in accordance withstatutory regulations, industry standards and accrediting bodiesrequirements
    • Liaise with Department andBusiness Units to facilitate their understanding of, and compliancewith, control of general and critical liftingoperations
    • Develop processes and assureenactment so that all lifting operations are planned, riskassessed, documented and performed by competent persons using theappropriate equipment in a safemanner
    • Represent Milaha Business Units withmajor clients to provide strategic direction, reporting andundertakings in regard to lifting operations implementation, actionand management
    • Review developed and externallysourced training packages ensuring training of individuals isachieved to satisfy defined industry standards and accreditingbodies' competency assessmentrequirements
    • Appraisal of Milaha employeesagainst pre-determined compliance requirements and pre-requisitecriteria in accordance with key client'srequirements
    • Determine and develop ongoinghigh-risk competency verification processes and ensure fullimplementation and compliance within the Milaha and third-partycontractor operationalworkforce
