    ProjectManager

    CompanyOverview:

    Ourclient has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager withsuccessful and progressive experience inoverseetotal construction effort to ensure projects are safely constructedin accordance with design, budget, andschedule.This includes interfacingwith client representatives, subcontractors, andsuppliers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reviewproject features with the EstimatingDepartment
    • Workwith the Project Engineer and Superintendent to develop andmaintain a project schedule with the appropriateattributes
    • Submitpreliminary paperwork such as submittals, introductory letters,subcontractor approvals, lump sum breakdowns of work items,affirmative action documents,etc.
    • Developa submittal log, a project organization chart, and a materialstorageplan
    • Initiateproject startup and closeout sheet and submit a copy to theconstruction department and set up and maintain projectfiles
    • Requiredto sign off on the budget prior to the start ofconstruction
    • Responsiblefor all aspects of cost management for theproject
    • Submita quarterly cost revision with an explanation of any costvariance
    • Submitchange order logs to the regional officemonthly
    • Coordinateand direct all project activities with the ProjectSuperintendent/General Superintendent to ensure that all milestonesare met and job continuity ismaintained
    • Conductweeklymeetings
    • Prepareand review periodic estimates with the ownersrepresentative/Resident Engineer and submit an approved originalestimate or pencil sheet copy to the regional office with theappropriate subcontractor quantitysplit.
    • Attendfinal punch list inspection and/or closeout meeting and completefinaldocuments
    • Maintaincontact with the project Owner and Architect/Engineer to obtainreduction of retainage and final payment and close out job siteoffice

    Requirements

    • Thesuccessful candidate shall have a minimum of 8 years of successfuland progressive experience in the civil constructionfield
    • Civil Engineering major or construction relatedfield
    • Experiencedin budget management, schedule, quality control, and knowledge ofall phases ofconstruction
    • OSHA10Certified
