    Dayto Day Roles andResponsibilities:

    SupportsDevSecOps efforts to ensure delivery of a demand model leveragingcontinuous everything to reduce defects while increasingproductivity andtime-to-market.

    Assists with theestablishment of CI/CD pipeline guidelines, standards, andstrategies.

    Communicateswith development teams to ensure adherence to CI/CD guidelines andstandard DevSecOpsprocesses.

    Under thedirection of the DevSecOps SME, supports the technical planning,configuration, integration, verification and validation of thepipeline toolchain in support of the technical complexities thatlead to the successful integration of various DevSecOps practicesas part of a CI/CDimplementation.

    Implementsautomated methods that will improve the performance and reliabilityof the system including scripting, integration, and problemresolution related to the CI/CD pipelinetoolchain.

    TheDevSecOps Engineer reports to the System TeamManager

    Requirements:

    Bachelors degree in a related field and 5-7 years experience or Master sDegree and 3-5 years experience; or high school diploma/equivalentand 9 years relevantexperience.

    Atleast two years hands-on experience supporting DevOps/DevSecOps toreengineer and automate the software developmentprocess.

    Experiencein the technical aspects of DevSecOps techniques, continuousintegration, continuous testing, and continuousdeployment.

    Experiencewith at least some of the following technologies andtechniques:

    oDistributedsource control(Git)

    oDependencyManagement tools such as Maven,Gradle

    oLeading CI/CDtools such as Jenkins,TFS

    oThe concept ofPipeline as Code scriptingtechnologies

    oIndustrystandard Static Code Analysis (SCA) tools such as SonarQube, NexusIQ Server,Fortify

    oHands onexperience integrating SCA tools into CI/CDpipeline

    oBinaryRepository tools such a Nexus Repository for pulling dependenciesand publishing build artifacts (Snapshots /Releases)

    Familiarity withopen-source tools for test automation such asSelenium

    IdealCandidate:

    Experienceworking in a large software development program using Agile(preferably SAFe) developmentmethodology

    Experienceimplementing DevSecOps for a Cloud-based system on a modernizationprogram

    Knowledgeof Cloud Service Platforms such as AWS,Azure

    Experience withcontainer orchestration using tools such asDocker-compose

    Experience withContainer Management Platforms such asOpenShift

    Experience withInfrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible, Chef,Puppet

    Experience withContinuous Monitoring tools such as E L/F KStack (Elasticsearch, Logstash/Fluntd,Kibana)
