    About theJob:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and passionateoptometrist to help us provide excellent vision care services toour patients in long-term care facilities.

    Some of theresponsibilities include:

    • perform routine, comprehensiveexams for glasses and contacts
    • perform dilated exams
    • provide diabeticevaluations
    • treatment of infection and injury
    • Repair and equippatients with eyeglasses
    • Proficient in diagnosis and treatment ofocular disease
    • Comfortable working with geriatricpopulation

    We have excellent opportunities for highly motivated& passionate optometrists who are looking to start arewarding career. We provide routine eye exams to our largelygeriatric patient population, as well as a broad range oftreatments related to ocular diseases such as macular degeneration,inflammatory eye disease and dry eye syndrome.

    We are seekingpart-time optometrists to help us provide excellent vision careservices to our patients who are located in long term carefacilities. This is a unique opportunity because we are mobile...You will be traveling to different nursing homes to provide eyecare services to the residents. The right fit will have a car andwill be OK to travel commutes when necessary. Furthermore, willadapt quickly to new environments.

    Requirements

    Ideal Candidatewill:

    • Be available part-time or full time
    • Have valid OD/DOlicense in the state of FL
    • Be Board Certified
    • Have her/his ownmeans of transportation
    • quickly acclimate to newenvironments
    • willing to travel at different facilities
