JobSummary

You will manage a team of developersresponsible for the design development integration verification andmaintenance of the iHorizons software solutions. You will beresponsible for the technical design of features implementingvisual and interactive elements within a web application for thecustomers to view and engage with. Ensure web designs are inalignment with the user requirements and the websites are visuallyappealing and optimized to attain maximum efficiency and usabilityown the teams delivery on quality of code and develop softwaresolution that meets the customers need with continuous contributionin the process improvement cycle.

• This role reports to theWeb/CMS Manager
• A team of Frontend developersand senior Frontend developers report to thisrole.

JobObjectives

• Lead a highperformingdevelopment team in designing integrating and maintaining softwaresolutions while ensuring the delivery of highqualitycustomercentric software products.
• Trainevaluate new technologies feasibility studies for internalimplementations coach the team build processes and documentationensure quality solutions and delivery to theclients.
• Ensure that software solutions meetcustomer requirements and industrystandards.
• Manage the daytoday activities inthe frontend development team while maintaining a high developerexperience and clean codingpractices

JobResponsibilities

Technical Excellence &Team Delivery

• Lead a team ofdevelopers in the define design integration verification andmaintenance of web pages per customerrequirements.
• Complete ownership of the teamsdelivery of functional interactive and visually appealing webapplications.
• Provide technical advice codereview and solution architectureguidance.
• Ensure that the developed solutionfollows the accessibility and usability standards in preparationfor obtaining Customer approval.
• Build solutiondevelopment processes documentation and knowledgebanks.
• Conduct market research evaluate newtechnologies for better and faster solutions conduct internalimplementation feasibility studies and prepare battle cards withpros and cons.
• Participate in the planningprocess for software development projects and ensure meetingquality and deadlines ondelivery

Design &Development

• Collaborate withstakeholders to understand project requirements scope andtimelines.
• Plan and prioritize tasks coordinatewith other teams and ensure timely delivery of frontendcomponents.
• Participate in the design andimplementation of frontendbased integrations like (social mediasharing AMP and embed codesrendering)
• Collaborate with designers backenddevelopers and other crossfunctional teams to ensure seamlessintegration of frontend components with the overall application orwebsite.
• Maintain a customercentric approachcontinuously striving to enhance the softwares functionality anduser experience.
• Ensure that the team followsSEO best practices in terms of HTML and meta tagstructure.
• Lead the team to build search enginerequirements use common analytics tools like Google analytics GTAand Mixpanel.

Code Maintenance& PerformanceOptimization

• Ensure that thedeveloped web applications are optimized in technology for maximumspeed and scalability.
• Escalateinterdependencies and problem areas at the right time with themanager and arrive at solutions
• Lead the teamand work on Webpage lifecycles Web securities and apply bestpractices in web development Radius Cache and Varnesh HeadlessImplementation.
• Oversee the ongoing maintenanceof software solutions ensuring they remain uptodate secure andcompatible with evolvingtechnologies.
• Implement robust version controland documentation practices to facilitate efficient codemaintenance and debugging.
• Continuously monitorthe performance of existing software solutions identifying areasfor optimization and efficiencyimprovements.

Process Improvementand Innovation

• Actively engage in theprocess improvement cycle identifying areas for optimization indevelopment workflows.
• Explore innovativesolutions and tools that can enhance the teams productivity andproduct quality.
• Promote a culture ofcontinuous improvement encouraging team members to contribute ideasfor enhancing processes andtechnologies.

• Enhance teams engagement levelsby creating a positive work environment and by ensuring alignmentof individual & team objectives to organizationalgoals
• Assist and support team in achieving teamgoals and elevating productivity

Employee Development& PerformanceManagement

• Effectively useperformance management mechanism to ensure growth and developmentof each individual team member setting clear objectives schedulingperiodical informal performance conversations and formal reviewsessions providing constructivefeedback
• Support & guide individualemployees in the team to achieve work and personal developmentgoals through coaching and mentoring
• Ensuretraining need analysis is done for Team Members and that thechartered training programs are administeredproperly

Processes Best Practices& Work StandardManagement

• Ascertain that the workprocesses and tools followed by the Team are effectual and ofhighperformance standards
• Establish anddocument best practices
• Closely monitor& audit the processes of the team to ensure the quality& work standards aremaintained
• Evaluate the efficacy of the toolsand constantly update them.

JobRequirements

EducationalQualification

• Bachelors degree incomputer science (or related area)preferred.

Previous WorkExperience

• 8 years of experience inweb development
• Excellent experience in webapplication troubleshooting and bug fixing along with a strongability to perform quick wins for productionissues.

Skills andAbilities

• Excellent knowledge infrontend stack (HTML CSS JS)
• Solidunderstanding Of:
• JS framework fundamentals andhow JS engine work HTML structure and page structure common searchengine requirements PWA
• SEOstandard
• The website ranking in terms of botsand page speed tools like lighthouse web links and requestsheaders
