    11-month contract
    Full-Time (37,5hours per week)
    Monday to Friday8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Responsibilities:Create highly accurate brand-compliant and visually compellingcross-channel design solutions, from brief to exact industrystandards for print.
    Attendclient meetings and being comfortable communicating design insightand rationale.
    Stay current withindustry trends and design innovation, proactively conduct marketresearch, and regularly suggest innovativeideas.
    Enhance all designs tomeet WCAG 2.0 (ADA) accessibilitystandards.
    As a steward of theclient s brand, provide brand guidance to maintain a consistentlook and feel.
    Advise the clienton the best solutions to their communicationneeds.
    Answer queries fromclients either handling these or (where appropriate) escalating tomore senior members of team.
    Effectively manage workload.
    Workproactively under own initiative and collaboratively with othermembers of a design team, providing input wheneverpossible.
    Be aware of budgets anddeadlines for jobs and escalate proactively and appropriately ifthere is a danger of goingoverestimate.
    Ensure all qualitycontrol policies are adhered to, while constantly looking for waysto implement processimprovements.
    Other duties asrequested by the senior creative/directreport.
    Creating mechanicallayouts (a complete digital file or combination of files) fromoriginal design or compositions. Utilizing incomplete files,images, and raw design layouts.

    Design:
    Re-designing layouts from existingcompositions.

    Maintaining brandintegrity for customer.
    Ensuringthe use of proper standards and industry bestpractices.
    Collaborating withinternal and external parties to ensure designs are delivered onrequirements.
    Ensures allprojects (including approvals) are properly documented andstored.
    Perform other relatedactivities as determined bymanagement.

    Whatyou will need tosucceed:Diploma from recognizedinstitution.
    2-4 years experiencein graphic design, new media design and informationdesign.
    Minimum 2-4 years graphicdesign experience in a fast-paced, client-orientedenvironment.
    Expertise in AdobeCreative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma and AfterEffects.
    Animation skills (anasset).
    A working knowledge ofPower Point, Word and Dreamweaver (anasset)
    Professional understandingof the Apple OS and eco system.
    Experience designing web assets, social media cards, digital ads,email campaigns, animation, and printmedia.
    Ability to adhere tocorporate brand guidelines.
    Meticulous attention to detail andaccuracy.
    Ability to managemultiple projects, competing priorities, objectives, anddeadlines.
    Excellentcommunication skills, a passion for client service and the abilityto communicate professionally and diplomatically, even inchallenging situations.
    Must becomfortable working in a team environment and presenting andbrainstorming ideas with senior-level businesspartners.
    An excellentcommunicator capable of presenting ideas to a team orclient.
    Able to show concepts,and design direction quickly through sketches and moodboards.
    Excellent customerservice, teamwork, and time managementskills.
    Accurate and consistentcompletion of time sheets. Strong diverse portfolio, showingcreativity and critical thinking.
    Fluent in English and French, written andspoken.
