    TheUniversity of Doha for Science and Technology is invitingnominations and applications for the position of ApplicationAnalyst (ERP) in the Information Technology Directorate. Reportingto the Supervisor ERP the Application Analyst (ERP) must be aproven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to supportthe Information Technology Directorate in fully implementing theuniversitys mission and vision.

    Responsibilities:

    This position requires an energetic and enthusiasticindividual who will develop support and maintain PeopleSoft andother UDST business IT systems and to ensure maximum utilizationfor UDSTs business Process. The incumbent is also responsible toprovide support with the maintenance of existing PeopleSoft modulesand ensure the system is able to be effectively utilized byusers.

    Candidatesshould have an outstanding record of industry experience andpossess the qualifications necessary to be successful in the roleof Application Analyst (ERP). The successful candidate isresponsible to optimize the use of the Universitys PeopleSoftsystems. Responsibilities include assisting with designimplementation and development of new modules and module updates inPeopleSoft in coordination with key stakeholders and ensure moduledesign meets organizational requirements.

    TheCandidates should be able to work on PeopleTools 8.53 and aboveApplication Engine XML Publisher reports Integration BrokerPeopleCode Application Packages FluidInterfaces

    Candidates will provide support in the use of software and ITsolution functionality for UDST business process through welldocumented system customization in alignment with ITIL as well asUDST IT policies and procedures as well as develop and delivertraining guidance and support for IT users on best practicetechnical concepts and general usage to increase knowledge andeffective use of UDST ITsystems.

    Candidateswill assist functional areas with scope planning in coordinationwith the relevant stakeholders in order to assess analyze and planfor future IT system needs. S/he will also provide support with thedeployment of IT business systems by participating in the designevaluation and testing processes.

    Candidateswill assist in day to day technical support for UDST IT systemscontributing to the timely and accurate resolution of issues byidentifying problems and recommending solutions. S/he will alsocreate documented procedures for configuring maintaining upgradingtesting and coding of UDST IT systems.

    Experience:

    Minimum 4 years ofrelevant experience in IT or relatedfield


    Language:

    Fluency in written andspoken English language Arabic is anasset.


    Other RequiredSkills:

    The Successful candidate should have a good understanding ofPeopleSoft HCM Functionality like Job Data Payroll for NorthAmerica Global Payroll ESS MSS etc. will be an addedadvantage.

    Thesuccessful candidate should have the ability to develop andgenerate queries and IT reports from PeopleSoft and ensure enduserrequirements are met in a timely fashion integrate systems toincrease automation of processes and flow of data throughapplications and support existing business systems in accordancewith guidelines established by ITIL and UDST policies andprocedures. The candidate should demonstrate a good understandingof education technologies that are designed for the administrationdocumentation tracking reporting and delivery of services at theuniversity.

    Astrong commitment to meet and satisfy the needs of internal andexternal stakeholders and the ability to anticipate and managechange effectively is essential. Effective time management& organizational skills the capacity to establish effectiveworking relationships across all levels in the organization and astrong commitment to working in a team environment are essential.Effective analytical and problemsolving skills arerequired.
