    About the jobThe CIS team is lookingfor a Sr Consulting Business Development Manager to provide SASCloud overlay sales support and business development to a definedregion.

    Serves as a first point of contact for the definedterritory that creates momentum in driving SAS Cloud revenues andspotting opportunities for growing the SAS Cloud business.

    Engagesin and supports the development and implementation of strategicbusiness plans and marketing activities involving the SAS internalchannel (regions/country s) customers and/or business partnerorganizations.

    Activities include, internal channel development andenablement, support the sales team in sales cycles including directinvolvement in customer meetings, support marketing activities,and/or business partner relationships to achieve defined goals.


    Asa Consulting Business Development Manager, you will:

    • SASCloud first point of contact for the defined territory
    • Pro-actively work with Sales Management and Account Execs to ensurethat SAS Cloud offers are best positioned with customers
    • Provide Account Execs with the SAS Cloud pricing and the scope ofthe hosting offer for customer opportunities
    • AssistAccount Exec in customer meetings providing SAS Cloudexpertise
    • Work with Commercial and Legal drafting SASCloud contractual paperwork
    Provide SAS Cloud enablementinto the defined territory In conjunction with local resources, SASCloud management and program management:

    • Develop andmaintain business plans and other related assets asrequired
    • Support enablement process of country/regionalpersonnel ensuring they understand the SAS Cloud valueproposition.
    • Support the build of an appropriate partnernetwork
    • Participate in client meetings asrequired
    • Develop lead generation plans RoleCompetencies
    • Building Trusting Relationships- Ability tobuild good working relationships across a variety ofstakeholders.
    • Business Acumen - Advanced skills indeveloping and executing on business plans at the strategic andtactical level.
    • Customer Focus - Willingness and provenability to work under pressure, make it happen and meet tightcustomer time constraints.

    • 5+ yearsexperience of sales/overlay-sales/channel development- Software orServices or Hosting
    • Bachelor s degree, preferably inBusiness, Computer Science, or related field
    • Understanding of how to open markets
    • Excellent Excel,PPT, Word experience.
    • Experience of coordinating andupdating CRM systems
    • Strong time management with abilityto prioritize
    • Gain Solid understanding and thenapplication of internal governance procedures.
    • Fluency inEnglish both written and verbal
    • Ability to travelinternationally as required
    • An equivalent combination ofrelated education, training and experience may be considered inplace of the above qualifications. Preferredqualifications
    • Experience of hosting/on-demand/cloud/SaaS
    • Experience / understanding of technicalarchitecture
