    Job Summary: As Retail OperationsManager you will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitthrough the delivery of world class customer service and effectivemerchandising. You will manage the retail operations in accordancewith company policy. You will have the overall responsibility forsales customer service marketing and promotions merchandising& stock control.

    • Keyaccountabilities are as follows:
      • Development ofnew business opportunities.
      • Manage overallretail operations at the airport with the aim of achieving theyearly sales budget.
      • Manage shop layoutincluding merchandising layouts etc.
      • Overseeday to day operational issues and ensure quickresolution.
      • Develop and maintain strategicrelationships with staff and otherstakeholders.
      • Oversee the implementation ofscheduled stock counts in conjunction with stock control to provideaccurate records and minimize stockissues.
      • Manage and ensure sufficient controlmeasures are in place to secure both stock and cash at the shopsstores and warehouses.
      • Oversee warehouseoperations ensuring smooth and speedy movement of stocks into andout of thestores.

    AboutYou: To be successful in this role you should hold minimum 10 yearsexperience with at least 7 years in similar operations such as fastmoving consumer goods or luxury brands. Management experiencewithin the travel retail industry is highly preferred. You must besales focused with a broad retail background including purchasingstore operations marketing and promotions.

    Youshould have an in depth knowledge of key concepts such as marginspricing retail IT systems merchandising in store stock layoutsprice ticketing warehouse/store logistics passenger traffic trendscustomer service standards promotions and new businessdevelopments. Management skills with the ability to implementstrategic decisions and foster team work are essentialprerequisites for this role.
