- Ensures Material & Logisticsoperations are efficiently & compliantly performed perapplicable GE policies & Quality Control Work Instructions.
- Maintain optimized Inventory levels minimizing supplyshortages & overstocking.
- Assist with periodicstock check/Inventory count.
- Perform Incoming materialinspection as per internal & regulatory guidelines.
- Put away and pull materials from stock in alignment withproduction plan and KPIs.
- Co-ordinate with global fulfillment & transportteams to mitigate any critical material supply issues foroperations.
- Maintain Data & Transactionintegrity in ERP system by following standard operating procedures& reflecting the transactions in ERP system.
- Manage dispatch/transport of unserviceable parts for GE AerospaceInternal & External repair vendors.
- Coordinatewith service providers for Engine transport & customspaperwork / clearance as necessary.
- Coordinates withcross team functions for correct Material/Transport cost allocationto shop visits.
- Maintain materials area with propersegregation & identification of parts/materials by adheringto 5S concept.
- Participate in assessments, read acrossand PFMEAs to identify and understand sources of defects. Promptlyidentify and escalate risks to leadership and work with team onsolutions.
- Participate in LEAN events and applylearnings to daily activity. Apply and improve upon standard workin area of responsibility.
- Execute other additionalprojects/tasks assigned in an efficient & timely manner
