    • Responsible for the Good Hygienepractices, food safety and hygiene standards throughout FreshDepartment and makes recommendations to the management on allmatters relating to day to day and long term hygieneissues.
    • Propose and maintain minimum standardsin all work areas, stores, receiving and disposal areas to adhereat all times to required hygienestandards.
    • Responsible for monitoring thesection area being clean and orderly with an organized andefficient workflow.
    • To provide suitable andcurrent information and supervision concerning health and safetypolicies and practices and implement HSE training at each sectionand conduct health and safety audit at eachoperation.
    • To implement HACCP and HSE standardsin the kitchen and surrounding areas and conduct health and safetyaudit at Food Service Operations.
    • Maintainclose contact with the related governmentauthorities.
    • Responsible for promotingeffective dissemination coordination with the rest of the staff inthe store.
    • Conducts daily kitchen inspectionson the personnel, environmental and food hygiene conditions andprovides a corrective action plan and keeps records on thefindings.
    • To ensure that proper and timelyassessment of risks to health and safety in completed andpreventive measures and arrangements are implemented asnecessary.
    • Advises and supervises food handlerson the proper food handling practices and ensures theirobservance.
    • Identifies key areas of risk invarious food operations for early remedialactions
    • Conducts proper assessment on employeeneed in terms of hygiene training and development and make possiblerecommendations
    • Addressing issues of safety andhygiene & Interfacing with Ministry/ Baladiya asrequired.
