    • Manage the flexible(cable/umbilical) scope as focal point and ensure all deliverablesare met in respect to time, cost and performance to ensure projectrequirements are met in the design.
    • Collaboratewith Project teams to provide expertise, advice, guidance and toimplement recommendations and operating procedures asrequired.
    • Reviewing and approving all relevantEngineering documents throughout the design and EPC phases, whichtypically include umbilical/cable Mechanical design, routeoptimization and field layout, on-bottom Stability Analysis, FreeSpan Analysis, crossing analysis, J-tube design, Installationanalysis, Construction, Pre-commissioning and CommissioningFeasibility/Analyses etc.
    • Ensure that allelements of cable/umbilical Integrity data are captured and managedeffectively to support the project an ongoing operationalneeds.
    • Ensure familiarity with GIS to monitorContractor development of the GISdatabase.
    • Provide constructability input intothe design and coordinate with onshore and offshore constructionteams to ensure effective implementation of Umbilical/cableengineering deliverables.
    • Support thedevelopment and maintenance of Umbilical/cable engineering relatedprocedures and best practices as needed and review design changes,specification revisions and exceptions to ensure compliance to theProject Management of Change (PMOC)processes.
